Tuesday, November 17 – 11:30 a.m.
(Green Bay) Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Student Life will present Mary Lightfine and “Nursing Without Boundaries” on Tuesday, November 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Student Center Cafeteria on the Green Bay campus.
Lightfine, a nurse, pilot, and writer, is the founder and president of Nurse Without Boundaries and Volunteers Without Boundaries. She is also the author of Nurses, Nomads, and Warlords. Lightfine has felt the inhumanity of war, starvation, and desperation from a completely different perspective having lived among dozens of world cultures in places like Afghanistan, Somalia, and Sudan, to name a few. Her lectures have been called “exciting, entertaining, and motivating.”
Part of the NWTC Student Life Speaker Series, Lightfine’s one-hour, multimedia presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
