Tutoring Services

Services for Students

Small Group Tutoring
To request small group tutoring, students should come to the Tutoring Center in Room SC135 in the Student Center on the Green Bay campus. Students can request to be matched with a tutor or locate a study group. This free service can be the key to doing well in your classes!

One-on-one Tutoring
A student requesting individual tutoring will be matched with a qualified tutor when one is available. The tutor and student will meet on campus for as long as needed during the semester. Each learner requesting a tutor will meet with his/her instructor and a career/academic counselor. The counselor will review the student's academic progress and assess the student's need for other services.

Tutor Request Form
To request a tutor, learners must complete a Tutor Request Form.  Once a learner has requested a tutor, he/she will be contacted by the Tutoring Services Coordinator.

Assistance Labs
NWTC offers assistance labs for math, writing, basic computer skills, and most science courses. A trained tutor leads group discussions, reviews key material and presents study tips to learners. Group study sessions are scheduled weekly throughout the semester and may be attended by any student enrolled in credit courses.

For lab hours, please call 920-498-5693 or click the specific lab link on the right side of this page.
