Receive alerts via text and personal email

You need information fast when it comes to weather-related closings or other emergencies that may impact NWTC. 

All enrolled students and current employees are registered to receive RAVE Alerts. Messages delivered through RAVE will be sent to your student or staff email and/or your mobile phone. You can add or update your mobile number and email address by logging in with your NWTC identification number and password.  

Note that your cell phone provider may charge a per-message fee for the delivery of emergency notification messages to your phone.

What is NWTC Alert?

NWTC Alert is the College’s warning/emergency alert system. It gives students, faculty, and staff timely notification of crimes or conditions that may represent a serious or ongoing threat to the campus community and to heighten safety awareness (in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Campus Crime Statistics Act.)

This system of timely warning information operates on:

  • Email and/or text messaging
  • Public address system
  • On-site television monitors
  • Website and social media postings
  • Local media
