Cari Ann Beversdorf

Cari Ann Beversdorf sees the world as a kaleidoscope of color and texture, translating its details into pyrography and ceramic sculpture. Rooted in Shawano, Wisconsin, she has nurtured her artistry from childhood walls to museum exhibitions.

Self-taught and endlessly curious, Cari learns by watching, exploring, and immersing herself in nature’s patterns and possibilities. Her work invites viewers into a space where external landscapes and inner reflection meet.

Beyond her studio practice, she is dedicated to teaching and sharing the creative process, fostering connection and collaboration among artists. With a vision of opening her own open studio in the future, Cari continues to expand her artistic journey. Her pieces can be discovered at regional art shows and through her Etsy store, Cari Ann Creations.

Jeremy Doughty

Jeremy R. Doughty is a ceramic artist and founder of Camp North & Co., a creative studio in Green Bay, Wisconsin, dedicated to creating small-batch ceramics, cozy apparel, and design-forward goods that bring people together. His journey with clay began in 2023 while living in London, when a weekend taster course at Studio Pottery London sparked a creative obsession. Since then, he has honed his skills through the NWTC Artisan and Business Center, developing a style rooted in organic forms and the subtle imperfections that make handmade work unique.

Jeremy’s ceramics blend wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques, allowing him to explore contrast in texture and form while adding a sculptural dimension to functional pieces. Inspired by the places he has called home—Wisconsin, Germany, Ukraine, South Africa, and the United Kingdom—his work reflects global experiences while remaining grounded in a Midwestern sense of warmth and hospitality.

Through Camp North & Co., Jeremy channels his love of travel, storytelling, and shared rituals into collections designed for daily use and lasting connection. While ceramics are at the heart of the studio, the brand also features tees, hats, hoodies, bandanas, and other goods, all tied together by a “stay cozy” ethos. Each piece—whether a mug, a sweatshirt, or a bowl—is created with the intention of sparking connection, adding comfort, and becoming part of the everyday moments that matter most.

Sara Kowalski

Sara Kowalski is a multidisciplinary artist based in Green Bay Wisconsin, with roots in the wide-open landscapes of rural Wyoming. Growing up with limited access to formal art education, she discovered creativity through instinct and experimentation rather than structured training. That spirit of curiosity continues to define her practice today.

While Sara has explored many mediums over the years, her current focus lies in ceramics, glass, and metal. Each material offers its own challenges and surprises—whether it’s the suspense of kiln-fired glass, the tactile rhythm of clay, or the physicality of shaping metal. She embraces the unpredictability of these processes, often finding inspiration in the way materials react to fire, heat, and motion.

Sara’s approach is intentionally experimental: she prefers to test, play, and push materials to their limits rather than follow a strict formula. This openness allows her work to evolve organically, often leading to bold, whimsical, and unexpected outcomes. Her pieces reflect both a sense of wonder and a willingness to embrace imperfection, capturing the energy of exploration and discovery.

For Sara, art is less about adhering to tradition and more about following a thread of curiosity—seeing where it leads and letting the materials speak for themselves.

Crystal Lepscier (Wāqsepāēhketūkiw)

Crystal Lepscier (Wāqsepāēhketūkiw) is an enrolled member of the Little Shell Band of Chippewa of Montana. Her mother is enrolled Stockbridge-Munsee and father (kaeh nap) is enrolled Menominee, making her a direct descendant of both Wisconsin tribal communities.

Crystal’s beadwork and other art captures her connections to these woodland tribal communities while interacting with contemporary colors, shapes, and designs. She has been creating collage paintings with overlaid beadwork to capture emotional connections and experiences to Indigenous topics.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in 2005 from UW-Madison in Studio Art with a focus on painting. Working at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) inspired her to get more involved in beadwork. She returned to UW-Madison to complete graduate studies, earning a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (ELPA) in 2011. She recently earned an Educational Doctorate (Ed.D.) in First Nations Education from UW-Green Bay (May 2022). She strives to connect art and education and focuses her research on how we can tap into our cultural practices to aid in relationship building and healing work in our communities.

Crystal mixes her passions for art and education, and continues to work in community spaces which allow for these types of collaborations. Creating art is cultural nourishment for Lepscier.

Crystal, her husband Justin, and their two children reside in Shawano WI. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, beading, and spending time with family.
