Ultrasound Clinic
Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time to help out with our educational ultrasounds. We offer a variety of scans throughout the year. These scans are for educational purposes only and are not meant to diagnose conditions. If there are any areas of concern, we will forward this information on to your physician. Therefore, you must have a primary care provider and a signed consent form on file. You can find the consent forms on this site. We hope that you enjoy the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College experience with our students and staff. The students and staff appreciate your valuable time and are excited for your arrival.
Lab Schedule for Spring 2025
- Appointments last approximately 1 hour.
- Volunteers will report to HS 101 (directions will be available when we contact you) and take a seat in the waiting area outside of the lab until it’s your turn.
Abdomen Scanning
January through beginning of May
- Tuesday and Wednesday mornings
- Appointments available at 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m.
Models should have noting to eat or drink after midnight the evening before the appointment.
Note: if you are pregnant, ONLY your upper abdominal structures will be evaluated. They are unable to look at the uterus, ovaries, or the baby.
Vascular Scanning
February through beginning of May
- Thursdays
- Appointments available at 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Echocardiography Scanning
February 3rd through April 28th
- Mondays
- Appointments available at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

- Each week the students are building upon new skills, so a comprehensive/complete echocardiogram may not be completed during one session.

GYN and OB Scanning
GYN-Transabdominal Pelvic/ Transvaginal Pelvic scans from January through April
OB 1st Trimester scans in March and April
- Mondays
- Appointments available from 10:30 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.
- Most pelvic ultrasounds will need a full bladder (24 oz. of fluid an hour before you’re scheduled with us, and no emptying until after the scan).
