Course Description

10-458-100 CDL LICENSE TRAINING ...this course is designed to prepare students for the Wisconsin Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) pre-trip inspection, air brake and skills test. Preparation will also be given for taking the State DOT written test including general knowledge, air brakes and combination vehicles.

What will I learn?

  1. Explain the Commercial Drivers License process and industry regulations
  2. Obtain necessary legal and industry related documentation and criteria
  3. Perform proper pre-trip inspections of class A and B commercial motor vehicles.
  4. Perform basic control maneuvers utilizing a semi truck driving simulator
  5. Perform basic driving skills utilizing a semi truck driving simulator.
