Course Description
60-301-101 SEWING: BEGINNER (18 HR) ...learn how to use and maintain a sewing machine; how to measure and choose the right pattern; and how to lay out, cut and mark the pattern pieces. Various stitching techniques will be introduced. Both clothing and home decoration projects will be sewn. Students should bring their own machine to class, if possible. Familiarity with a sewing machine is preferred, but not necessary.
