- Wedge 3 lbs. of clay into a uniform mass
- Pinch-form a bowl, plate, and cup
- Build a coiled pot equal to or greater than 6-inches high
- Create a paper pattern for slab-assembling a 3-dimensional piece
- Identify methods used to construct historical work
- Explore Kurinuki subtractive technique
- Demonstrate slip decorating techniques
- Re-create a contemporary or historical ceramic object
- Describe the process of ceramic art - from bag of clay to finished object
- Glaze a ceramic object
- Reclaim clay into workable consistency

This class is taught through a combination of in-person and online instruction. Students will attend live portions of the class at the dates, times, and location specified. Students will be required to attend a minimum amount of open lab sessions at the Artisan Center for the in-person portion of class.
