This will include: safe storage of firearm and ammunition, safe loading skills, basic firing skills, critical skills in shooter safety, etc. Wisconsin concealed carry certificate can be awarded through this course.

Class Notes

  • Students must be 18 to take the class and 21 to obtain the CCW License. Students must provide 150 rounds of new factory full metal jacket, brass casing ammo in the correct caliber. NWTC will provide the use of a GLOCK 17 9mm pistol; students may bring their person weapon in any of the following calibers: 9mm, .40 caliber, .45 caliber. Upon enrollment, a background check will be performed on each student. Any person prohibited to carry a firearm by law will not be admitted to this class. This class will meet in the Public Safety Training Center across from the Green Bay Botanical Gardens.
