Course Description
10-412-164 DIESEL STEERING & SUSPENSION ...focuses on heavy-duty truck suspensions and steering systems. Students will learn about the operation, maintenance and overhaul of various types of heavy-duty suspensions. Provides technicians with the opportunity to perform total vehicle alignments. Also covers testing and troubleshooting of power steering systems and steering complaints. (Prerequisites: 10-412-158, Chassis Sub-Systems; 10-412-156, Hydraulic/Pneumatic Systems)
