Course Description

10-834-111 ELEMENTARY ALGEBRA/8 WK ...In support of Intermediate Algebra, Elementary Algebra/8wks covers the beginning of algebra: working with real numbers and understanding the concepts of solving equations. The focus is then placed on solving linear equations, basic quadratic equations, and common formulas from geometry. The Cartesian plane is introduced early to give students multiple vantage points to understand solutions of equations. (Prerequisite: GPA less than 2.6; OR Next Gen QRAS score less/equal to 249 AND Rdg less/equal to 249; OR prep courses-contact academic advisor 920-498-5444).
