Course Description
10-606-128 FABRICATION DESIGN ...focuses on creating fully dimensioned and detailed fabricated parts. Different fabrication techniques and how to create mechanical detail prints so parts can be fabricated properly is also covered. Students will also learn Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, tolerance stacking, dimension placement, and calculating and creating sheet metal drawing flat patterns, as well as threads and fasteners. (Prerequisites: 10-606-106, SolidWorks Intermediate)
