10-806-114 GENERAL BIOLOGY ...introduces general biological concepts/principles. Emphasis is on cell structure/function, genetics, evolution, and taxonomical relationships. Consideration is also given to diversity among the various kingdoms. (Prerequisite: Next Gen Reading score greater/equal to 263; OR ACT Reading score greater/equal to 17; OR preparatory courses-contact an academic advisor at 920-498-5444)

  • This class is taught through a combination of in-person and online instruction. As specified in the dates, students will complete the class through in-person sessions, live virtual meetings, and the remaining through non-live online instruction.   • General Biology classes require students to attend: One lecture per week via live web conferencing; plus, additional lecture content must also be completed outside of class meetings; AND 2 labs per week In Person. Homework and study time for lecture and labs is also an expectation outside of class meetings.
