Course Description
10-090-301 INTRO TO AGRONOMY ...this class provides a fundamental introduction to agronomy careers and opportunities. Through hands-on activities, class speakers, in-person tours, and site visits, students will gain a basic understanding of the opportunities in agronomy careers. Students will also develop an understanding of the basic agronomic crops and evaluation of alternative crops. Topics include: variety selection, planting and fertility options. Students will be familiar with all inputs in a cropping plan and features and benefits of the feed and economic value of all options.
