  3. Operate power/bench tools.
  4. Demonstrate basic module construction
  5. Adhere to shipfitting safety guidelines.
  6. Demonstrate panel construction.
  7. Preparation of welding surfaces.
  8. Acquaint self with shipyard terms.
  9. Recognize work area issues including lighting, scaffolding needs, wind, etc.
  10. Train to do steel wash.
  11. Pull plates and sections together using fairing aides.
  12. Perform hands-on rigging of small items and cranes.
