What will I learn?
- Characterize junction field effect transistor transconductance curves
- Calculate component values to set operating points of junction field effect transistor circuits using gate bias and self bias.
- Calculate the voltage, current, and power gain of junction field effect transistor amplifiers.
- Construct circuits of junction field effect transistor amplifiers
- Determine applications that are most adapted to JFET amplifiers

Class Notes
1. IMPORTANT: Each class consists of lecture delivered in person plus additional time in the Tech Hall lab, Room ET129 during the posted open lab times. Plan approximately 30 hours to complete both portions of this class.
2. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Tech Hall Lab, Room ET129, is open Mon-Thurs 8am-8pm; Fridays 8am-3pm; Saturdays 8am-1pm. The Lab will observe all College closure holidays and breaks.
3. This course may require purchase of a parts kit in ET129. Please reference the class syllabus for details.
