31-457-338 METAL FABRICATION II (EQUIPMENT) ...course provides the opportunity for the learner to develop the knowledge, skills, process, and understanding of…general fabrication equipment safety and operation used for sawing, shearing, bending, drilling, punching and CNC cutting. (Prerequisite: Accepted into Welding program or Metal Fabrication technical diploma; Prerequisite: 31-457-337 Metal Fabrication I)

What will I learn?

  1. Identify Metal Fabrication Hazards
  2. Utilize Sawing Equipment to Fabricate
  3. Demonstrate using drill and tap equipment
  4. Utilize hydraulic ironwork.
  5. Utilize a hand brake/box and pan.
  6. Utilize a power press brake.
  7. Utilize a forming roll.
  8. Fabricate structural shape joints
  9. Demonstrate basic Operation of CNC plasma burners
