What will I learn?

  1. Import a 3-D CAD model into SmartCAM.
  2. Refine the 3-D CAD model into CNC toolpath.
  3. Perform 4th axis manipulation for CNC milling.
  4. Program multi-axis lathe machining functions using SmartCAM.
  5. Program 4th and 5th axis milling functions using SmartCAM.
  6. Produce 4th axis CNC wire EDM programs using SmartCAM.
  7. Input tooling information into SmartCAM for CNC punch applications.
  8. Produce nesting programs for CNC punch and burner applications.
  9. Perform 3-D fold and unfold functions for fabrication using SmartCAM.
