- Identify signal circuitry of AC drives
- Perform startup procedures on AC drives
- Identify AC drive power circuitry
- Apply an industrial AC drive to AC induction motor
- Program AC drive
- Apply AC Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to the operation of the 3-Phase Induction motor.
- Apply control wiring strategies to 3-Phase AC Variable Speed Drives
- Demonstrate programming and troubleshooting of 3- Phase AC variable speed drives.
- Apply Digital and Analog PLC input and output device circuits to control AC Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
- Apply PLC control of a VFD through Ethernet communications.
- Apply peer to peer Digital and Analog VFD control between the VFD's.
- Program and Troubleshoot 3-Phase AC Variable Speed Drives utilizing multiple methods.

Class Notes
IMPORTANT: Each class consists of lecture delivered in person plus additional time in the Tech Hall lab, Room ET129 or the Mech Hall lab, Room ET120 during the posted open lab times. Plan approximately 30 hours to complete both portions of this class.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Tech Hall Lab, Room ET129, is open Mon-Thurs 8am-8pm; Fridays 8am-3pm; Saturdays 8am-1pm. The Lab will observe all College closure holidays and breaks.
