Search Coordinator

47-504-541 SEARCH COORDINATOR ... this course is designed to teach the essential knowledge and skills necessary to perform as the search coordinator of search incident with focus on missing/abducted children. The coordinator will be expected to lead the search operation within a command structure as part of a CART-Child Abduction Response Team or equivalent organization. The course helps prepares the student for the incident by review of a number of case studies, best practices, and the typical sequence of events in a search. Time is devoted to initial response actions, search tactics, techniques for dealing with potentially overwhelming challenges such large numbers of volunteer searchers.
