10-526-257 SPECIAL PROCEDURES IN ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY... Introduces applications/limitations, technical procedures and fundamental role of cardiac sonographers in advanced echocardiography modalities. Lectures are correlated with scan lab demonstration. (Prerequisites: 10-526-252, Adult Echocardiography)

- Perform stress echocardiography.

- Perform IV peripheral access for intravenous administration.
- Analyze utility of three-dimensional echocardiography.
- Analyze advanced echocardiographic technique and procedure of myocardial strain and speckle tracking imaging.
