- Translate complex information needs into accurate SQL statements to generate results that meet business requirements.
- Construct multiple-table queries and subqueries to meet complex data needs.
- Distinguish appropriate uses for custom user-defined functions.
- Develop triggers and stored procedures.
- Create database table indexes with emphasis on usage and table/query performance.
- Utilize SQL Server Query Optimizer to optimize queries.
- Improve database robustness and usability to accommodate complex business needs.
- Produce a lossless database environment through the use of Data Backups, Snapshots, and Transaction Log Files
- Analyze database performance.
- Plan data analysis and data integration using the SQL SSAS and SSIS tools.
- Manage database security at levels appropriate to business and data needs.
- Develop reports utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) that meet business requirements
