10-405-125 INTRO TO COLLISION REPAIR APPLICATIONS ...this course provides the learner the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge gained in all prior courses on "live" vehicle repair. Emphasis will be placed on vehicle protection, use of available repair information, organization during the repair process, and completing repairs to industry standard. 10-405-150 INTRO TO COLLISION WELDING...This course provides the opportunity for the learner to develop the knowledge, skills, process, and understanding of welding and cutting commonly used for collision repair. Students will learn to set up, use, and maintain welding equipment and weld a variety of types and thicknesses of steels using GMAW (MIG) welding equipment in the flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead position. Methods of cutting covered include mechanical, oxy-fuel, and plasma arc.

10-412-151 INTRO TO DIESEL MECHANICS ... introduces the student to the tools and equipment used in a heavy-duty diesel shop, vehicle classifications, fasteners and repair hardware, drilling and tapping techniques, broken bolt extraction, and basic shop equipment operation. (Prerequisite:10-412-101 Diesel Service Fundamentals)

10-526-200 INTRO TO DMS ...introduces learners to the field of diagnostic medical sonography. Explores the duties and functions of the diagnostic medical sonographer as well as the historical background. Learners examine the other imaging modalities as they relate to sonography. Includes principles of patient care and legal and ethical issues related to sonography. (Prerequisite: Applied to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography OR Echocardiography Program; minimum HESI test score of 87)

10-412-153 INTRO TO ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ...focus on the theory of electricity. This will include studying Ohms, Kirchoff's, and Newton's Laws and how they apply to the circuits on various electrical systems on a vehicle. Students will apply these theories to troubleshoot simple circuits. (Enrolled in Diesel program, Prerequisite: 10-412-101 Diesel Service Fundamentals; Enrolled in the Automotive or Collision program, there is no prerequisite for this course)

10-481-114 INTRO TO ENERGY MANAGEMENT ...introduces the basic concepts of energy, utility systems and utility rate structures; defines the need for energy management as an integral part of society at all levels. The course will present the various opportunities available to energy management students.
