Professional License Disclosure

Home » Academics and Training » Professional License Disclosure

Following U.S. Department of Education rules, NWTC cannot enroll students in states where we haven't confirmed that our program meets local licensure or certification requirements. Only licensure boards or agencies can decide if a program meets these requirements. They do this after a student finishes the program and applies for a license or certificate.

We have done our best to check if our program meets the educational requirements for licensure or certificate, but NWTC cannot promise that anyone will be able to get a professional license or certificate in any state or territory.

Completing a program is usually just one step toward getting a license or certificate. Most states or territories have extra requirements, such as additional courses, hands-on training, passing exams, and other steps like background checks, paying fees, gaining work experience, and providing references.

Licensure or certification information is updated every year, but requirements can change at any time. For more details or questions, please contact the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs & Workforce Development.
