The 22nd Annual Community Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday will be held from 10:30 a.m. to Noon, Saturday, January 14, 2017, in the Student Center at NWTC-Green Bay.

This vibrant, multicultural celebration is free and open to people of all ages. Attendees will enjoy:

  • Musical and dance performances
  • The inspiring words of Dr. King
  • A light lunch featuring diverse cuisine served at a reception immediately following the program
  • Art by local students from elementary to college age

 

Poster - Essay - Poem Contest

Brown County and Oneida Nation school children (K-12) and area college students are invited to participate in a poster/essay/poetry contest that shares this year’s theme, "My Dream for My Community." Entries are due Thursday, Jan. 4. 2016. Contest winners will be announced at the celebration.
