Three Northeast Wisconsin Technical College instructors have been chosen for the BayCare Clinic Foundation Faculty Professional Development of the Year Award.
NWTC Health Science and Education instructors Jodie Breidel (Diagnostic and Medical Sonography), Kelly Guyette (Surgical Technologist) and Barb Peters (Practical Nursing) were selected by the BayCare Clinic Foundation Board based on their excellence in instruction, innovation in education, commitment to student achievement, advancement of curriculum and devotion to the health care profession.
Each of the recipients will receive up to $2,000 to attend a national health conference.
This is the eighth year the foundation has given the award.
The BayCare Clinic Foundation has pledged to contribute $10,000 annually to the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Educational Foundation. These funds are used to support the BayCare Clinic Faculty Professional Development Award and for nursing and allied health professional development projects at NWTC.

In 2020, the Foundation celebrates 50 years of facilitating student scholarships, funding and programs that advance the College’s mission and vision.
