On December 15, NWTC will be hosting its mid-year graduation ceremony, celebrating over 1,400 students from all three campuses and five regional centers who have completed their programs during the fall 2022 semester.
December graduation includes students who are expected to have completed their studies between June and December 2022. Some of the facts about this graduating class include:
- Over 1,400 students (from all three campuses and five regional centers) are candidates for graduation.
- Over 200 will be participating in the commencement ceremony on Thursday night.
- 440 will receive degrees with honors or high honors.
- Nearly 100 are graduating as Phi Theta Kappa members, which is a National Honor Society of two-year colleges.
- 6 are international students.
- 42 are veterans of our United States armed forces.
NWTC’s December 2022 mid-year Commencement Ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, at the Resch Center. Here, participating graduates from all campuses and regional centers will be celebrated.
The ceremony will be held in person and open to graduates, friends and family members. NWTC will also live stream the event for those who wish to celebrate virtually.
The ceremony will include addresses by NWTC President, Dr. Jeff Rafn, NWTC District Ambassador, Rosa Faustino, and more.
