Recognizing some students are homeless or in transitional housing situations, NWTC partnered with Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin to launch the Safe to Study Program/Homeless Student Housing Partnership.
Safe to Study assists NWTC students who are financially struggling to find and secure stable housing options – enabling them to successfully live independently and focus on their post-secondary education goals.
The program is made possible through a grant from the Basic Needs Giving Partnership of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, which includes the U.S. Venture Fund for Basic Needs, the J.J. Keller Foundation, and donors of the Community Foundation.
