On December 18, NWTC hosted its mid-year graduation ceremony, celebrating over 1,400 students from all three campuses and five regional centers who have completed their programs during the fall 2023 semester.
December graduation includes students who are expected to have completed their studies between June and December 2023. Some of the facts about this graduating class include:
- Over 1,475 students (from all three campuses and five regional centers) are candidates for graduation.
- 475 will receive degrees with honors or high honors.
- 102 are graduating as Phi Theta Kappa members, which is a National Honor Society of two-year colleges.
- 37 are veterans of our United States armed forces.
“We are immensely proud of our graduates, their accomplishments, and the sacrifices they have made to get to this moment,” said Dr. Kristen Raney, NWTC president. “This is also a moment of excitement for our graduates – for the possibilities and the positive impact they will undoubtedly make as they embark on this new chapter in their lives. Through all these moments that are still yet to come, NWTC is honored to be part of their journey.”
NWTC’s December 2023 mid-year Commencement Ceremony was held at the Resch Center where participating graduates from all campuses and regional centers were celebrated.
