Accessing Your Student ID
Find your Mobile ID
On Your Phone
- Sign into your NWTC Student Portal.
- Once logged in, select "Menu" in the upper right corner.
- Select "Mobile Student ID" on the menu list.
- Follow the prompts to take or upload your Student ID photo.
On Your Computer
- Sign into your NWTC Student Portal.
- Once logged in, select "Resources" in the bottom left corner.
- Select "Mobile Student ID."
- Follow the prompts to take or upload your Student ID photo.
If you do not have a smart phone and require a physical student ID card, please contact student.involvement@nwtc.edu or call 920-498-5483.

Submitting your Photo
Acceptable Photos
- Solid light background
- Other people are not visible in the photo
- No hat or head covering (unless for religious purposes)
- Head straight forward and eyes looking at camera
- Head and shoulder shot only with shoulders covered
- Image is bright and clear without filters
Think of what your driver’s license or passport photo looks like. This is the type of photo the system accepts.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens after I submit my photo?
Once your photo has been uploaded, an automatic cropping/adjustment sequence will then initiate to ensure all requirements are met. If any of the requirements from above are not met, a pending/denial message will appear stating which requirement is not being met.
When the photo has been approved, a pop-up notification appears. You then receive a confirmation email sent to your NWTC @myMail address stating the photo has been received, thus completing the photo submission process.
If the approved photo does not appear in your portal within 1-2 days, please email us at student.involvement@nwtc.edu.
You will then have access to your mobile student ID, under Resources and then Mobile Student ID within my.nwtc.
How do I get Gym and Fitness Center Access?
If you are interested in using the NWTC Gym & Fitness Center, please stop in the Student Involvement office, SC118, to request a physical photo student ID with gym access.
I lost my physical Student ID. Can I get another?
You will always have access to your mobile Student ID on your device, but we can reprint your physical ID if you need gym access. The replacement cost for a reprint is $5.00.
