Course Description

60-807-100 YOGA AND MINDFULNESS - LFI…students will learn the basics of yoga and mindfulness. Students will utilize different methods and techniques to access both the mind and the body components of yoga. We will explore basic yoga postures to improve balance, proprioception, flexibility, and strength. When exploring mindfulness, we will utilize different techniques of mindfulness and meditation to be reflective. Students will understand techniques to reduce stress and anxiety, create greater focus, develop a stronger mind, and body connection.
