BA Strategy Analysis & Evaluation
10-102-132 BA STRATEGY ANALYSIS & EVALUATION ...identify and define business needs; understand business structure, strategy, and impact of work efforts; define the importance of vision, strategy, goals, and objectives; and define solution scope. Effectively facilitate change management. (Prerequisite: 10-102-130, Requirements Analysis & Design)
Basic Agronomy
10-090-132 BASIC AGRONOMY ...this is an introductory crops and soils course. Students will develop a fundamental knowledge of soil and water, nutrient management, pest management, and crop management. Topics include basic soil physical and biological characteristics, soil and plant tissue analysis and interpretation, soil pH and liming, fertilizers and other nutrient sources, pest identification and management, and basic crop development.
Basic Anatomy
10-806-189 BASIC ANATOMY ...examines concepts of anatomy and physiology as they relate to health careers. Learners correlate anatomical and physiological terminology to all body systems. (Prerequisite: Next Gen Rdg score greater/equal to 250; OR ACT Reading score greater/equal to 15; OR preparatory courses-contact an academic advisor at 920-498-5444)
Basic Animal Husbandry
10-091-327 BASIC ANIMAL HUSBANDRY ...proper cattle handling and restraint techniques will be demonstrated. Optimal feed, water and ventilation needs discussed. Compliance with industry standards of animal welfare and record keeping will be studied.
Basic Lab Skills
10-513-110 BASIC LAB SKILLS...explores laboratory science career options and the fundamental principles and procedures performed in the laboratory. You will utilize basic laboratory equipment. You will follow required safety and infection control procedures and perform simple laboratory tests. (Prerequisite: Accepted into Medical Laboratory Technician program or Phlebotomy certificate.)
Basic Mechanics
10-620-144 BASIC MECHANICS ...Introduction to basic mechanical devices and tools used for assembly, disassembly and adjustment.
Basic Rider Course 2
42-816-406 BASIC RIDER COURSE 2 (BRC 2) ...for riders who already possess basic riding skills and are either returning to riding or are seeking a refresher course to practice and renew basic riding skills. The course includes approximately three hours of classroom and five hours of on-cycle riding exercises.
Beekeeping & Pollinators
10-090-118 BEEKEEPING & POLLINATORS ...bees pollinate our crops and orchards; they are an environmental quality indicator species and they provide honey. Explore beekeeping using onsite hives; explore pollinators and habitats, and network with local beekeepers.
Beverage Server-Responsible
47-311-400 BEVERAGE SERVER-RESPONSIBLE ... state laws relating to alcohol beverage service and sale of tobacco products. Factors/behaviors of unsafe driving, discouraging intoxication, identifying fake/altered IDs; ramifications of selling to underage patrons.
BIM Architectural 1
10-614-216 BIM ARCHITECTURAL 1 àincorporates the use of Revit for building information modeling. Basic to intermediate modeling and documentation tools will be explored. Simple building information models will be generated, edited, and documented. (Prerequisite: Acceptance in Architectural Technology program or into the Fundamentals of Architecture certificate.)
BIM Coordination
10-614-227 BIM COORDINATION ...incorporates the use of Navisworks for managing building information. Files will be combined, and the information will be analyzed for clash detection to coordinate the various systems within commercial buildings. (Prerequisites: 10-614-231, BIM Architectural 2; 10-614-218, BIM Structural; 10-614-220, BIM HVAC; 10-614-221, BIM Plumbing; 10-614-224, BIM Electrical)
