Federal Work-Study Requirements
- Student must be degree-seeking and eligible for financial aid.
- Student must have financial need (determined by the FAFSA) to be offered work-study for the current academic year.
- Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit
- Student must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
FWS Offer Notification
- Work-study funding is limited and not every student will qualify. Complete the form to see if you qualify and have work-study included in your financial aid offer.
- Any questions about FWS, including summer work-study, can be directed to workstudy@nwtc.edu
- After you have accepted work-study and received your "Next Steps" email, get started by creating a profile in Handshake.
