We gathered ten finals-related songs and put them in a playlist for you to listen to anywhere. Here is the Ultimate Finals Playlist:
Does “stressed out” describe how you’re feeling? You’re not alone! Take a deep breath and know that you got this!
This song explains what you should do during finals – put one foot in front of the other. In other words, take on one task at a time so you don’t overwhelm yourself.
Time to get focused with some low-fidelity music! Low-fidelity music, or more commonly known as low-fi, is a style of music that embraces imperfections such as hums, misplayed notes, and environmental noise. Because of its repetitive nature, low-fi can help you concentrate.
Classical music like this can be beneficial while studying. As with low-fi music, classical music can help with concentrating and retaining information.
Soak in the coffee shop vibes without the hustle and bustle of the coffee shop!
Get up and get moving! Remember to occasionally take a break from studying to give your eyes and brain a rest.
If you’re a “High School Musical” fan, you’ll love this addition to the playlist. "Get’cha head in the game” by avoiding distractions while preparing for finals. Turn off your phone notifications, close unnecessary tabs on your computer, and find a comfortable, quiet place to study (hint: NWTC has plenty of study spots across campus!).
Need some motivation? Think of graduation when you’ll be able to say, “Look! I made it!”
