  • Service-learning – students hone their skills while meeting a variety of community needs; for example, Welding students built and installed a 300 pound steel door at the entrance of Spring Cave near Maribel, WI to help prevent vandalism; Practical Nursing students applied fluoride varnish to 43 children on Washington Island.
     
  • Events – Door County Buy Local and Case IH have hosted events on the Sturgeon Bay campus.
     
  • College life – active student organizations include Phi Theta Kappa International, Diesel Club, Skills USA and the Welding Club.
